[Guide And Tips] Mass Effect: Andromeda Best Assault Weapons Stash

Mass Effect: Andromeda has a wide variety of weapons to offer its players. If you are one of those players who love to shoot while moving, then you know you have to use the assault rifles. Therefore, we bring to you a list of all assault rifles with different technologies.

All the assault rifles basically belong to three different technology categories:

Milky Way Technology:

These weapons will typically use Physical Ammunitions. They are High Impact projectile based guns meaning they are most effective against unshielded enemies.

  1. Cyclone

You will require a short warm up before use. Its massive capacity fills up for its low accuracy rate. The rifle was discontinued for production few years prior to Andromeda Initiative’s departure due to high maintenance requirements, but some soldiers still trust this old gun.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Beryllium
  • Fluorite
  • Omni-Gel Canister
  • Vanadium
  1. L-89 Halberd

L-89 Halberd was Andromeda Initiative’s effort in making a semi-automatic rifle that was on par with the dependable M-96 Mattock that also used initiative breakthroughs in material science. The rifle highly favors power and precision.

  1. M-8 Avenger

It is a sturdy, common, versatile assault rifle having a reputation for being reliable and easy to use. The M-8 Avenger was the most favorite and in-demand rifle among military groups and mercenaries in the Milky Way alike due to its modular design and cheap components.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Iron
  • Cadmium
  • Element Zero
  • Omni-Gel Canister
  1. M-37 Falcon

It is a lighter and more accurate version of grenade launchers. This rifle generates its ammunitions through a field fabrication kit. Its explosives contain sensors which make grenade to bounce off walls and explode when in contact with a target.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Nickel
  • Copper
  • Element Zero
  • Omni-gel Canister
  1. M-96 Mattock

M-96 Mattock is a powerful weapon liked by many marksmen to shoot down tough targets. The developers advertised its lack of auto setting as a boon to stop the user from shooting inaccurately due to nervousness.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Iron
  • Fluorite
  • Element Zero
  • Omni-Gel Canister
  1. N7 Valkyrie

N7 Valkyrie was the standard issue assault rifle for new recruits to the Milky Way’s Alliance military. It is considered as a variant of the Avenger type rifles. The rifle has a high rate of fire and accuracy making it a precious item on the black market.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Iron
  • Lithium
  • Element-Zero
  • Omni-Gel Canister
  1. Pathfinder Pioneer

The Pioneer allows Pathfinder to make changes in its balance, recoil and heat buildup by sending data directly to Pathfinder’s SAM. The Andromeda Initiative developed the first weapon as a virtual extension of a user’s body.

  1. Revenant

This weapon is a favorite of warlords in the Milky Way Galaxy and is also extremely rare and expensive. The accuracy and damage caused by this weapon are comparatively low but in fully-auto mode, it can destroy the enemies.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Copper
  • Cadmium
  • Element Zero
  • Omni-Gel Canister
  1. Sandstorm

Sandstorm was designed and developed by exiles from the Nexus after arriving in Heleus. The weapon has adopted many key non-Initiative technologies and is highly accurate.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Lithium
  • Beryllium
  • Vanadium
  • Omni-Gel Canister

Remnant Technology:

These weapons use beams and have a high rate of fire and accuracy level. Remnant tech weapons never run out of ammo but you have to wait for it to cool down after continuous firing.

  1. P.A.W.

The Particle Accelerator Weapon or PAW uses high energy particle to shoot as a continuous beam with high accuracy. The weapon is highly effective during the short period of operation but suffers from overheating. It brings together Remnant particle beam technology and Andromeda Initiative targeting and stabilizer.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Nickel
  • Graphite
  • Vanadium
  • Remnant Polymer
  1. Sweeper

The weapon is highly accurate and does not require any reloading, but is prone to overheating. The Sweeper was developed by deriving techniques from Remnant technology and re purposing it for Andromeda Initiative needs.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Lithium
  • Vanadium
  • Magnesium
  • Remnant Polymer

Heleus Technology:

These are Plasma Based Mass Effect Weapons with heat seeking technology. To cause maximum damage with these guns, you need to charge each hot for the longest time possible.

  1. Soned

The Soned Gattling gun is massive and fires plasma-surrounded projectiles after a short period of charging. Most of the weapon is designed to keep the user safe from its own power as a damaged Soned can burn down its user’s hand to ashes while continuing to fire.

Materials required for the upgrade:

  • Kett Alloy
  • Vanadium
  • Scale Fibers
  • Eiroch Fluid Sac
  1. Thokin

This badass gun shoots tracking-enabled, plasma-surrounded rounds. The magnetic field adjustors make it possible for the tracking effect although its low ammunition capacity is a worry. Thokin offers a high accuracy rate making it a “worthy to have” gun.
